Sarv Kalyan Vikas Samiti organised a five-day training programme on bamboo cultivation, nursery raising, plantation and value-added bamboo products in association with ICAR-Indian Institute of Soil and Water Conservation (IISWC), Dehradun, from 17 to 21 February 2025.
The training was attended by empanelled self help groups and NGOs, and covered practical sessions on bamboo propagation, nursery management and making value-added products that can become a source of livelihood for rural families.
