Sarv Kalyan Vikas Samiti (estd. 2016) has the sole motive to serve and bring about an attitude change and realization in the mindset of the society. The initiative is planned in two levels. Level one deals with mass incorporation of changes and 2nd level is devised for individual awareness of people. We aim to build a Sustainable Society, to make peace with nature and our society. Our motto is that we need not to be enemies with our own earth.

We are equally working on livelihood, education, environment and agriculture. We are associated with more than 500 women SHGs, youth clubs and organisations for training, demonstrations and exhibitions across the country.

Our Achievements

  • Under the HARIT campaign SKVS is successfully running a plantation campaign in Uttarakhand, Delhi, Rajasthan and various states of India.
  • In collaboration with UBFDB, ICAR-IISWC and FRI Dehradun, different species of bamboo have been planted in more than 50 hectares in various districts.
  • The Samiti is planting different species of bamboo on 55 hectares of barren land including Rudraprayag, Tehri, Pithoragarh and other districts.
  • Efforts are being made to make farmers and gram panchayats aware of environment protection and connect them with self-employment.

Vision

To work to every sphere of environment protection and to spread environmental awareness in Rural and Urban people. Organisation wants to build a society free of various stigmas. NGO is determined to work for rural people especially woman, children and youth. To strengthen the people and join them to the mainstream. Generating self employment and Livelihood for rural people using resources available to them. Exploring and expanding forests and forest resources by plantation, special focus on Bamboo plantation.

Mission

Using barren land of hilly areas for Ringal/Bamboo plantation. Providing knowledge and training to rural people about Bamboo and its production and its other uses. Establishment of various training centres for women and children which includes Ringaal Handicrafts and products, stitching, Craft, Computer, Painting, etc. Proper functioning and maintenance of these training centers is key to fulfill our targets.

Goals & Objectives

Our team has set major goals and objectives of the NGO, mentioned below.

  1. To plan and devise programmes and projects to Go green for our Mother Earth and capture public attention towards peace of mind, atmosphere, culture, wisdom, education, technology as well as sustainable development.
  2. To plan, organize and implement programmes and projects for water management & conservation and rain water harvesting.
  3. Data collection regarding green habitats and environmental education to find scope and opportunities for a clean - green India.
  4. To conduct sponsored as well as non-sponsored research programmes with the support of Ministries, Departments, Corporates and International Bodies.
  5. To introduce environmental education programmes in schools, colleges, Institutions and Universities and strengthen the existing ecological and environment related training infrastructure.
  6. To organize training programmes for vocationalization of environmental careers. Also provide sustainable employment opportunities through our training programs.
  1. To improve the educational environment among literary backward groups.
  2. To get equal status of women in all aspects of socio-political and economic development within the community and the nation at large.
  3. To work on women's rights and the means of enforcing such rights for the achievement of equality, development and peace.
  4. To ensure social justice vis-a-vis self awareness of women.
  5. To organise and establish women's self help groups which are individual and organisations committed to feminist goals can share the facilities and information on women issue or matters.
